The major component of the Overlay Plus Panel is rigid extruded polystyrene foam of a closed cellular structure. The core provides the following properties: Thermal Insulation, Decoupling and Waterproofing. The core is between two thin layers (0.75mm) of fibre-reinforced polymer concrete with a polyester fleece-coated layer of aluminum on the top. The aluminum layer provides the following property: Dispersion of heat from the pipes over the surface of the board.
